The Surrealist

Lyrics

Leave The Piñata for The Kids

From the deserts of Arizona,

To the Shores of the East,

I now find myself In the Middle,

Constructing each Piece by Piece,

Studying to be someone,

Trying to make a name,

Is this the course that I'm to travel,

Or does the sign read wrong way?

But peace struck me all at once

like something I've never felt,

I won't take this life for granted

for my life could've been someone else,

There was beauty all around

overlooking the mountains as the leaves changed,

Who created this masterpiece,

O did they have a name?

Reality is Overrated

In a place where the skies are clear,

Stars so bright blind they can see,

Where the music is heard and witnessed,

The sounds never fade away.

The heat of the day sweats you dry,

The people you meet smile by,

Only one place seen with these eyes,

Everyone's emotions so high,

You think to yourself is this a daydream?

But no I sit and keep waiting,

The colors and lights they are waving,

Reality is Overrated

The Other Side

Looking for holes in the clouds.

Throughout these days,

The Summer is melting me away,

Can’t complain, this past winter I went completely insane,

Looking back I was deranged, but hey

Everything turned out O.K.

Where goes the mind, the body, and who leads the blind?

Who is waiting, the owner of the other side?

Some people are convinced that he is as defined,

But I won’t know until I’ve reached the other side.

O wait, It’s that time now.

And when everything aligns,

That’s when my plan

O it will unwind.

I’m a watchmen, counting starts at night.

Watching the cars go by.

Where goes the mind, the body, and who leads the blind

Who is waiting, the owner, of the other side,

Some people are convinced that he is as defined,

But I won’t know until I’ve reached the other side.

I’ve reached the other side.
